Between 1991-1997, undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb, in the departments of Ethnology and Czech Language and Literature. Undergraduate dissertation entitled Cucerska svadba nekad i danas (Wedding in Cucerje in the past and today).
Since June 1998, she has been employed at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research as a junior assistant. She took part in the 20th symposium of the International Council for Traditional Music, study group on ethnochoreology held in Istanbul, Turkey.
In 1998/1999, she attended a two-semester program held at the Centre for Women’s Studies in Zagreb.
Since October 1999, she has been collaborating in an international research project at the Centre for Women’s Studies Woman’s memory in life under Socialism.
In 2000 she helped to organise, and attended, the 21st symposium of the International Council for Traditional Music, study group on ethnochoreology held in Korcula on the island of Korcula. Since May 2000 she has been a member of the committee for amateur folklore groups in Zagreb. She took part in the research meeting Dani Cvita Fiskovica held in September in Orebic-Korcula-Lastovo.
In 2002, she defended her Masters dissertation entitled Dance and Gender in the Lastovo carnival. She attended the annual meeting of the Croatian Ethnological Society in June in Split. She took part in the 22nd symposium of the International Council for Traditional Music, study group in ethnochoreology held in June in Hungary.
