The conference proceedings Digital Humanities & Heritage represent an exceptionally valuable contribution to the study of digital humanities and the preservation of cultural heritage. Through an interdisciplinary approach and the innovative application of advanced digital tools, the collection offers a deep insight into the latest research and practices in this dynamic area. The scholarly value of these proceedings is evident in several key areas: the application of advanced digital tools such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) and the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF); the development and implementation of new methodologies, including semantic modelling and approaches aimed at enhancing access to digital collections; and the support for scholarly research by providing essential sources and information for its implementation. The diversity of topics makes these proceedings relevant not only to the academic community but also to a broader audience interested in digital humanities and cultural heritage. Particularly impressive is the focus on accessibility and the comprehensibility of materials for different target groups, reflecting the authors’ commitment to promoting inclusivity and open access to knowledge. This collection is essential reading for anyone engaged in digital humanities and cultural heritage, serving as a significant source of information and knowledge in this rapidly growing field.
